JANUARY ACTIVITIES
  •  WEBSITE PARENT AND STUDENT LOGIN AVAILABLE - Our school district website provides customized web tools to connect administrators, teachers, students, parents and the community. Students and parents are now able to login to their school website (in the login area under the calendar). For more information, go to "Family" in the above menu, then Family Info & Resources, Parent Website Registration Form (and Guide)
    • SCHOOL BOARD MEETING - Shady Lane students will be the featured guests at the School Board Meeting on January 9th during the "finest" part of the meeting.  The meeting starts at 7:00 P.M.
    DAYS OFF THIS MONTH There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 16th for all school district students.  Please note: students in the 4 year old program and grades 6-12 are off school on Monday, January 23rd.  The elementary schools do have school on that day.
  • SCHOOL GROUP PHOTOS The school photographer will be here on January 17th to take group photos; classroom candid photos, Scouts, After School Sports, DARE, Chorus, etc.  Please plan to send uniforms if appropriate.
  • MAP  "Measuring Academic Progress" The MAP Winter Schedule begins on January 4th.
  • SHADY LANE SCHOOL YEARBOOK - Yearbook order forms will be sent home on January 18th.  The cost this year is $10.00. 
  • PTA SHADY LANE VARIETY SHOW - The Variety Show "Hollywood" is always fun and exciting for the performers and the audience.  The show starts at 6:30 and admission is free.  Come on out and cheer on our talented performers.
  • PTA "COLD CASH FOR COLLEGE"- Shady Lane has for many years offered scholarships to 'former Shady Lane' high school seniors.  Coins are collected in each classroom.  The drive will run January 9-20th.
